Ordering
Add any newly ordered reagents to the inventory list.
Orders from STORES are made on Quartzy: https://app.quartzy.com/login
Any other purchases are made on the King's Finance System (KFin): https://ubw.unit4cloud.com/uk_kcl_prod_web/
Advice on ordering using KFin (Unit4):
Not recommended for searching for products - the catalogues are incomplete and not regularly updated - better to search online with suppliers directly
It's a good idea to check with suppliers that they have the product in stock before ordering - some will say this on their website (e.g. Sigma); give suppliers a quick ring if lead times are not listed, they're always happy to let you know
Unit4 can be complicated to use, sign into SharePoint to find explicit guidelines on filling out an order form correctly.

Darwin Microfluidic Herringbone mixer - Glass Chip
Contact Lise Voland (lise.voland@darwin-microfluidics.com) with the product code (SKU:LTF-012.00-4264) and quantity of the chips, and ask for a quote. So far I have been placing orders in EURO, so ask for a quote in EURO.
Place an order through U4 and make sure to attach the quote. Use the price in EURO from the quote and add the appropriate quantity.
You will receive a task on U4 (EU Import incoming or similar), which you will need to accept in order for the order to go to your supervisor.
After your supervisor approves, you will receive an email with a Foreign Payments link, which redirects to you the Foreign Payments process.
When you receive the goods, you will be emailed to provide a complete Foreign Payments form (You can find this on the Chemistry Sharepoint) AND the Invoice. Do this, only after you receive the goods. Once, you email these two attachments to Foreign Payments, the payment will be processed.
