Risk Assessments

  • Attend the departmental lab induction from Eileen.

  • Have a think about which equipment you will need.

  • Read the relevant risk assessments accessible on the Drive and hardcopies in the yellow folder.

  • Sign hardcopy sign-off sheet for each risk assessments you have read and understood.

  • Get a senior lab member to show you the equipment and train you in their safe use.

  • If a risk assessment does not exist for your experimental plans then if it needs one it is your responsibility to create one and get Mark to sign it off before you start.

This area is intended as a repository for digital copies of H&S risk assessments etc to aid typing when updating and amending only. The definitive version of each of these documents is the signed hard copy in the yellow lab folder.
